Fath Khan’s king, surrendered with the fortress of Daulatabad in June 1633 and sent north to Gwalior, where the imperial chronicle noticed him only as one of two Nizam Shahi captives already held there.

The archive’s essay on the extinction follows the fall of Daulatabad: it “took the capital, the treasury and the reigning prince”, and “Husain Nizam Shah III went north”. Bosworth lists him at AH 1041–3, 1632–3; Britannica, counting from this surrender, ends the dynasty in 1633, and the archive does not, because a boy of the house was crowned within months.
