Raja Ali Khan Faruqi

Placed on the throne at Burhanpur in 1576 after the nobles deposed his late brother's minor son Hussain Khan, submitted to Akbar as a tributary, and was killed by a powder-tumbril explosion at the battle of Peitun in 1596.
