Rana Pratap (Pratap Singh)
Pratap was girded with the sword and hailed king of Mewar by the hereditary premier and nobles in place of his father's brief nominee Jagmall, and died content after urging his chiefs never to build permanent dwellings until Mewar's independence was recovered.
