Muhammad Jafar Khan
Muhammad Jafar Khan, brother of Muhammad Bahawal Khan III, seized the throne of Bahawalpur on the death of Fateh Muhammad Khan in 1866 but was besieged and captured within about nine days.

No sooner, however, had the late Nawáb's bier reached the burial ground at Deráwar than Hakím Sa'adulla and others released Muhammad Jáfar Khán, a brother of Baháwal Khán III, installed him on the throne... The rebels surrendered after a siege of nine days, and the usurper was taken prisoner.
