Mahmud Shah I (Begada)

Nephew of Daud Shah, he was placed on the throne at fourteen after the nobles deposed his uncle in 1459 and, known by the epithet Begada, reigned until his natural death in 1511 in his seventieth year, succeeded by his son Muzaffar Shah II.
