Mahmud Khan I
Eldest son of Nasir Khan I, inheriting the throne at about fourteen, he disputed the government early with Bahram Khan and Haji Khan of the rival Muhabbat Khan line, governed some twenty-five years, and died of a lingering illness, rumoured to have been poisoned by a jealous wife, the mother of his son and successor Mehrab Khan.
