Third son of Nasiruddin Khalji, designated successor by his father and crowned at Mando over a rival claim from his brother Sahib Khan; after prolonged wars with Gujarat, he was besieged and captured at Mando by Bahadur Shah of Gujarat on 9 Shaban A.H.932/20 May A.D.1526, and was killed with his sons five days later, ending the Khalji line.
