Mahmud Khalji I

محمود خلجی اول

Minister to Ghazni Khan who had his master poisoned and seized the throne on 29 Shuval A.H.839/16 May A.D.1435 as Sultan Mahmud Khalji, founding the Khalji dynasty of Malwa; he reigned 34 years and died on the road from Kechiwara on 19 Zeekad A.H.873/27 May A.D.1469, aged 68.
