Jai Singh

Jai Singh took possession of the Gaddi of Mewar in S. 1737 (A.D. 1681) succeeding Raj Singh I; after his son Amar Singh II's rebellion was settled by a treaty at the shrine of Eklinga, his reign closed some twenty years after his accession.
