Ibrahim Shah Sharqi
The younger brother of Mubarak Shah, he was elevated to the throne on Mubarak's death in 1401, made Jaunpur a noted seat of learning, took Kanauj and Sambhal from Delhi, and died of illness in 1440 after a reign of more than forty years.
