Fateh Khan
Son of the murdered Diwan Firoz Khan II; placed on the Palanpur throne as a minor under his uncle Shamsher Khan's regency, then confirmed as ruling chief in 1817 after a British force stormed Palanpur and ended the uncle's revolt; in November 1817 agreed to British political supervision, and in September 1822 to forbid the transport of opium through his territory.

As a punishment for this conduct a force was in October 1817 sent to Palanpur, and the town assaulted and taken. Fateh Khan speedily submitted and Captain Miles was appointed Political Superintendent with a minute control over the finances of the state.

Constant dissensions, however, occurred between uncle and nephew until 1817, when the former broke into open revolt, peace being eventually restored by a British force which stormed the town of Palanpur and replaced the young chief on the throne.
