Governor of Malwa under the Delhi sultanate who assumed the title of Shah and independent royal state at Dhar in A.H.804/A.D.1401, founding the Malwa sultanate; he died suddenly in A.H.808/A.D.1405, amid an unproven rumour that his eldest son had poisoned him.
