An Afghan noble and former private secretary elevated by Mahmud Tughluq, elected by the nobles in his stead; besieged three times by Khizr Khan and forced to surrender in 1414, then confined at Hissar Feroza, where he died — the last ruler before the Sayyid dynasty.
