Daud Khan Karrani
Succeeded his murdered brother Bayazid Karrani, fought Akbar's generals across Bihar, Orissa and Bengal for over a decade, and was defeated, captured and executed as a rebel in 1584, ending independent Muslim rule at Gaur.

In the year 993, Khan Jehan was appointed governor, and Dawood Khan attacked him... when after a severe engagement the latter was taken prisoner, and suffered death as a rebel... Thus ended the rule of the Poorby or independent eastern kings of Bengal.
