Banganapalle — the Nawabs
Small Nawabi state in the Deccan, later re-granted as an estate under the Nizam in 1764; acceded to the Indian Union in 1948. Imperial Gazetteer (2026-09-22): The Gazetteer places the family's founding grant (Kiladar of Banganapalle under Bijapur) only broadly in 'the last half of the seventeenth century,' consistent with but not confirming the row's precise 1665 start; it predates 1948 so gives no end date.
