Balu Mian
Balu Mian, Sidi of Janjira, resigned his claims to Janjira to the Peshwa in 1791 and received lands near Surat that became the State of Sachin, taking the title of Nawab from the Emperor of Delhi; he ruled until his death in 1802.

When in 1791 Balu Mian, Sidi of Janjira, resigned to the Peshwa his claims to Janjira, he received (No. XL) lands near Surat yielding Rs. 75,000... The State of Sachin consists of the districts then made over to him on application to the Emperor of Delhi, and, on the payment of a large nazar, he received the title of Nawab.
