Amar Singh I
Amar Singh I, whom his father Pratap had already marked as his son and eldest heir, succeeded him in S. 1653 (A.D. 1597), and in old age abdicated by placing the tika on his own son Karan Singh II's forehead before retiring to the Nauchauki palace until his death.
