When Nasrat Shah drank the disagreeable syrup of death, his son, Firuz Shah, by the counsels of the grandees, ascended the throne. He had reigned for three years, when Sultan Mahmud Bengali...slew Firuz Shah, and ascended the throne by right of inheritance from his father.
