Ala-ud-Din Imad Shah
Succeeded his father Fathullah as king of Berar and took his residence at Gawilgarh; fought Burhan Nizam Shah I of Ahmadnagar over the forts of Mahur and Ramgir, allied unsuccessfully with Khandesh and then Gujarat against Ahmadnagar, and on his death was succeeded by his eldest son, Darya.

On the death of Futteh Oolla, his eldest son, Alla-ood-Deen, succeeded to the government; and following the example of other chiefs of the house of Bahmuny, declared himself King, under the title of Alla-ood-Deen Imad Shah; and established his royal residence at Gavul.
