Grandson of Firuz Shah Tughluq through his son Zuffur Khan, raised to the throne by the conspirators who had just killed Tughluq Shah II; driven out after a contested year-long struggle by his rival Nasir-ud-din Muhammad and sent prisoner to Meerut, where he died some years later.
