Abdul Kheir Khan
Eldest son of Abdul Hakim Khan, he returned from Seringapatam backed by Tipu to claim Savanur from his brother Husain Mia, was confirmed by Nana Phadnavis, survived the Dhundhia Vagh campaign and the Third Anglo-Maratha War under British protection, and ruled until his death on 3 November 1827.

Abdul Kheir Khan died on the 3rd of November 1827, leaving five sons all by nika or left-hand marriages of whom Abdul Feyaz Khan succeeded him and died within three months.
