Abdul Karim Khan I
Abdul Karim Khan, son of Ibrahim Muhammad Yakut Khan, succeeded on his father's death in 1853, though the State's administration (under British management since 1829) was restored to him only in 1864; he died in December 1868.

Ibrahim Muhammad's extravagance involved the State deeply in debt and in 1829 he made over (No. XLI) his country to the management of the British Government till his debts should be liquidated... He died in 1853, and was succeeded by his son, Abdul Karim Khan, to whom the State was restored in 1864.
